            閱讀下面短文,根據(jù)所給情節(jié)進(jìn)行續(xù)寫(xiě),使之構(gòu)成一個(gè)完整的故事。

            It was summer, and my dad wanted to treat me to a vacation like never before. He decided to take me on a trip to the Wild West.

            We took a plane to Albuquerque, a big city in the state of New Mexico. We reached Albuquerque in the late afermoon. Uncle Paul, my dad's friend, picked us up from the airport and drove me up to his farm in Pecos.

            His wife Tina cooked us a delicious dinner and we got to know his sons Ryan and Kyle. My dad and I spent the night in the guestroom of the farm house listening to the frogs and water rolling down the river nearby. Very early in the morning, Uncle Paul woke us up to have breakfast. "The day starts at dawn on my farm," he said. After breakfast, I went to help Aunt Tina feed the chickens, while my dad went with Uncle Paul to take the sheep out to graze (吃草). I was impressed to see my dad and Uncle Paul riding horses. They looked really cool.

            In the afternoon, I asked Uncle Paul if I could take a horse ride, and he said yes, as long as my dad went with me. I wasn't going to take a horse ride by myself anyway. So, my dad and I put on our new cowboy hats, got on our horses, and headed slowly towards the mountains. “Don't be late for supper," Uncle Paul cried, "and keep to the track so that you don't get lost!" “OK!" my dad cried back. After a while Uncle Paul and his farm house were out of sight. It was so peaceful and quiet and the colors of the brown rocks, the deep green pine trees, and the late aftermoon sunmixed to create a magic scene. It looked like a beautiful woven ( 編織的) blanket spread out upon the ground just for us.

            2. 至少使用5個(gè)短文中標(biāo)有下劃線的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ);

            【思路點(diǎn)撥】

            讀后續(xù)寫(xiě)要求考生首先要讀懂已有信息,不僅能讀懂字面含義,還要理清文章的脈絡(luò)。續(xù)篇這篇短文時(shí),考生要搞清楚故事的發(fā)展進(jìn)程、前因后果、地理位置、人物思想情感的變化等。在此基礎(chǔ)上,考生要順著文章的思路,根據(jù)線索,發(fā)揮想象,對(duì)其后的情節(jié)進(jìn)行合理推測(cè),并用語(yǔ)言表達(dá)出來(lái)。

            通過(guò)閱讀所給文章可知,父親帶兒子去西部荒野的一個(gè)朋友家體驗(yàn)農(nóng)場(chǎng)生活,見(jiàn)父親和叔叔騎馬,兒子也很想騎,于是親身上馬體驗(yàn)。

            根據(jù)第一段所給首句Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse.這一句是故事發(fā)展的轉(zhuǎn)折點(diǎn),可從rabbit出現(xiàn)后帶來(lái)的反應(yīng)擴(kuò)展開(kāi),可以寫(xiě)馬的反應(yīng),也可以寫(xiě)人的反應(yīng),但要注意與第二段首句相呼應(yīng)。第二段首句是We had no idea where we were and it was getting dark.這一句呼應(yīng)前文Uncle Paul的叮囑——不要誤吃晚飯,可從如何尋路返回農(nóng)場(chǎng)去寫(xiě)。

            續(xù)寫(xiě)時(shí)注意要使用5個(gè)以上短文中標(biāo)有下劃線的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ),我們要熟悉所給劃線詞語(yǔ),恰當(dāng)?shù)臅r(shí)候加以運(yùn)用。較后還要注意所續(xù)寫(xiě)短文的詞數(shù)應(yīng)為150左右;續(xù)寫(xiě)完成后要用下劃線標(biāo)出你所使用的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ)。

            Suddenly a lttle rabbit jumped out in front of my horse. My horse turned to the 1eft to avoid the ittle rabbit as I held on tightly and tried not to fall. Then my dad turned around and shouted, Hoid on! All of a sudden the horse began to run My dad tried to keep up behind us. For a few minutes my horse slowed down to a trot and then stopped beside a river. I looked around and realized that we were way off the track.

            We had no idea where we were and it got dark. Luckily the stars came out and gave us a little light when we were looking for the way to the farm house. After what must have been several hours, we suddenly heard the sound of sheep in the distance. My dad and I both rode our horses towards the sound of the sheep. As we got closer we saw Uncle Paul with a flashlight waving us over. What a night!
